K Rend
The gable at the top of this page was finished in K Rend, in the champagne colour the customer chose.
Skimming over Artex
A house built in 1992, with hard, thick Artex on the ceilings and water damage in areas. The customer wanted a smooth flat finish, so we scraped the high spots off the Artex coating, coated it with 2 coats of PVA, then 2 coats of plaster to finish.

New plaster gets its mist coats first, then the top coats. We spray ceilings and coving, and we paint fitted cupboards and woodwork too.

A room plastered by our friends at VM Plastering Hampshire just over a week before. We completed the mist coats on the plaster, then top coats to the ceiling. The customer chose Farrow & Ball Ammonite for the walls.

We prepared a bathroom in a local nursing home for Duncan Long Maintenance: a scrape back of the walls and a bonding coat to level out, followed by the final top coats.
